Advanced Open Imaging's High Field Open Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) equipment can accommodate all patients including those who are severely claustrophobic, large, young, old, fragile and/or in need of constant support throughout the exam. The "open-sided" gantry design means that it is completely open on the front, back and sides, allowing patients to be accompanied by a supportive partner while maintaining high image resolution that is comparable to 1.5 tesla (measurement of magnetic force) High Field closed systems.
Advanced Open Imaging's powerful MRI provides outstanding high resolution images. Produced using a powerful magnet, radio waves and advanced computer technology, the high field open MRI is very safe and uses no x-ray radiation. It delivers detailed diagnostic information similar to the newest high field closed tube MRI's with magnet strength of 1.5T (tesla).
AOI's high field open MRI may be used to evaluate virtually all parts of the body. Conditions commonly evaluated by Advanced Open Imaging's quality, high resolution MRI includes tumors, back problems, soft tissue injuries, central nervous system disorders and the musculoskeletal system which includes evaluation of the shoulder, elbow, wrist, hip, knee and ankle. With the power of a closed tube MRI, AOI's open MRI is capable of performing the most complex studies including brain studies for early stroke detection, breast MRI for implants and cancer, CSF Flow studies, contrast-enhanced peripheral MRA with power injector, MR Myelography (MRM), ultra fast single-breath hold abdominal scanning, MR neurogram, high-performance gradients ultra fast (sub second) and ultra high-resolution (1024 matrix).
AOI's high field Open MRI produces images with the clarity to help diagnose injury and disease in the brain, spine, muscles, tendons, major organs including the liver and kidneys, abnormalities of the eye, paranasal sinuses, throat, salivary glands, the thyroid, abnormalities within the bone marrow, organs of the abdomen and pelvis including the liver, pancreas, kidneys, ovaries, uterus, and prostate. It has many applications in the cardiovascular system. The display of blood vessels known as MR angiography (MRA) is an accurate, noninvasive means of obtaining information about arteries of the head, neck, and body as well as demonstrating congenital cardiac abnormalities.
Advanced Open Imaging has two locations to serve the Northwest. Our Lynnwood, Washington (WA) facility serves the greater Puget Sound region including Olympia, Tacoma, Seattle, Bellevue, Redmond,Woodinville, Monroe, Snohomish, Bothell, Edmonds, Mill Creek, Mukilteo, Everett, Marysville, Bellingham and all of western Washington. The Meridian, Idaho (ID) facility serves Boise, Helena, Spokane, all of eastern Washington and Idaho.
